Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (G.A.I.N.)
We would like your Neighborhood Watch to participate in the “Getting Arizona Involved In Neighborhoods” (G.A.I.N.) event, which will take place September 20 through October 3, 2026, anytime from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Formerly known as National Night Out, the G.A.I.N. event encourages residents to get together in their respective communities to promote safety, neighborhood communication and celebrate the successes of crime prevention through community involvement.
There are many ways to celebrate G.A.I.N. Activities may include block parties, flashlight walks, and youth activities. As time and schedules permit, some neighborhoods will also receive visits from deputies and volunteers from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. We encourage Neighborhood Watch Area Leaders and Block Leaders to organize their own event in recognition of G.A.I.N. Remember, when neighbors know neighbors, everyone in the community is safer.
We look forward to your participation. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers Neighborhood Watch office at (520) 351-4972. Thank you.
Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 9, 2026 using the form below to help us coordinate your event with the Sheriff’s Department personnel.
